PCS Pay-It-Forward Program

Applies To: All eligible military community members using Aloha My Home

1. Purpose

Aloha My Home is proud to serve the U.S. military community. We understand that military families often relocate frequently (about 10 times more often than civilian families, roughly every 2–3 years), which means you face unique challenges in buying and selling homes. To recognize your service and ease these transitions, we’re offering members of the U.S. Military Community a discount via our PCS Pay-It-Forward Program. This program automatically provides savings for military members on our platform and enhances benefits when military members help each other in real estate transactions.

2. Eligibility

Military Community Member is defined as any of the following individuals:

  • Active-duty service member

  • National Guard or Reserve member

  • Veteran or military retiree

  • Military spouse or dependent

Verification of military status may be required (for example, using a .mil email address, DD-214 discharge form, military ID, or valid documentation for spouses/dependents). This program is available only for home transactions conducted through the Aloha My Home platform.

3. Program Benefits

  • Automatic 5% Savings: Any verified military community member who buys or sells a home through Aloha My Home receives 5% off our standard Service Fee at closing. This discount is applied for the military member on every transaction they complete with us (as long as their military status is verified).

  • Mutual 15% Savings: If both the buyer and the seller in a transaction are verified military community members, each party receives 15% off our standard Service Fee at closing. In other words, when two military members transact together on Aloha My Home, they each enjoy a significant discount on their respective fees.

Examples:

  • A military Seller lists their property and the Buyer is not military → Seller gets 5% off their fee.

  • A military Buyer purchases a home from a civilian Seller → Buyer gets 5% off their fee.

  • A military Buyer and a military Seller complete a transaction together → each gets 15% off their fee at closing.

4. Referral Sharing

We encourage military members to invite fellow service members, veterans, or spouses to use Aloha My Home. By doing so, you grow our military network and everyone benefits:

  • New User Discount: An invited new user who verifies as a military community member automatically qualifies for the 5% discount on their Aloha My Home Service Fee (just like any other verified military member).

  • Mutual Discount on Transactions Together: If a referring military member and their invited friend end up buying/selling a home together on the platform, the 15% mutual discount will apply for that transaction – meaning both get 15% off their fees as described above.

  • No Codes Needed: There is no special referral code or coupon required. Once both parties have accounts verified for military status, the appropriate discounts (5% or 15%) are applied automatically when you close on a home.

5. Payment & Application of Discounts

  • Applied at Closing: Qualified discounts are reflected as a line-item reduction on the Aloha My Home Service Fee at the time of closing. You will see the fee reduction on your closing statement or final settlement documents.

  • Applicable Only to Aloha My Home Fees: The discount applies only to our Service Fee. It does not apply to any third-party charges such as title insurance, escrow fees, home inspections, taxes, or other government/recording fees associated with the transaction.

  • Each Party’s Fee Discounted Separately: In transactions where both parties are eligible, each party’s discount is applied separately to their own Service Fee. (For example, in a military-to-military sale, the seller’s fee gets 15% off, and the buyer’s fee also gets 15% off independently.)

6. Program Rules

  • Non-Transferable: Discounts are non-transferable. They apply only to the individual who qualifies (the verified military member) and cannot be given or assigned to someone else.

  • Genuine Transactions Only: This program applies only to legitimate, completed home transactions conducted through Aloha My Home. You cannot receive credit or discounts for canceled transactions or for activities outside our platform.

  • No Fraud or Misrepresentation: Any fraudulent use of the program, misrepresentation of military status, or attempts to game the system are strictly prohibited. Such actions will result in disqualification from the program and potential termination of your Aloha My Home account.

  • Verification Rights: Aloha My Home reserves the right to verify your military status at any time. We may request additional proof of eligibility even after initial verification, especially if we suspect misuse. Failure to provide valid verification upon request can result in loss of discounts and/or removal from the program.

7. Compliance & Disclaimers

  • Not a Government Benefit: This Military Referral & Rewards Program is a promotional discount initiative by Aloha My Home. It is not an official government or Department of Defense benefit, and no U.S. Government or DoD endorsement is implied.

  • Program Changes: Aloha My Home reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program with prior notice. However, any discount that you have already qualified for (e.g. for an ongoing or pending transaction) will be honored under the terms in effect when it was earned, even if the program is later changed or ended.

  • No Endorsement: Participation in the program does not imply any federal endorsement of Aloha My Home. We simply aim to provide a token of appreciation for your service, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
